Itinerary Ladakh
Day 1: Arrival in Manali by bus
On arrival in Manali, meet at the designated accommodation. Complete the login process and take a short break. Enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on an exciting motorcycle tour of Ladakh. Start your motorcycle and hit the winding roads of the Kullu Valley. The sound of your bike echoes throughout the valley. Enjoy a thrilling ride with the Beas River on one side and the majestic Himalayas on the other.
Day 2: Manali to Jispa (150 km).
Get up in the morning because you have an exciting day ahead of you. You will trek through the beautiful Rohtang Pass today. The collar, which is set high, includes a hair tie and inspires the traveller in you. The weather is uncertain here, but there are many people who come to enjoy the snow event. The pass, which is one of the highest in the world, also serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti Valley. Before Leh, it was the last place to find bikes. Your phone will stop working through this too.
Jispa-Sarchu Day 3 (120 km)
The third day of your Ladakh discovery by bike 2020 tour will be equally awesome. Today, you will cycle to your next stop, Sarchu. The first task of the day was to cross the Bara-Lacha La (4890 m). Difficulties begin to emerge from here. As altitude increases, the consequences of high altitude sickness may become apparent. Take it easy and don’t overdo it. It is an up-and-down journey from here to Bharatpur. As one reaches Sarchu, the road gets better after this time. Sarchu, located on the border between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, mimics Ladakh in its desolate landscape.
Day 4-Sargu-Leh (250 km)
On day 4, you will be very happy since the ascent of Gata Loops starts here. The Loop is a series of 21 twists and turns that will take you to the top of Nakee La while keeping your spirits high. The Leh-Manali route is the third-highest mountain pass. The history associated with the place, like a loop, will interest you throughout your journey. After descending a few kilometres from Nakee La, you will resume your ascent to Lachulung La, the fourth-highest and easiest mountain on this route.
The slopes of Lachulung La lead to Pang, a built-up tent village. The place is a beautiful plain at the foot of the Himalayas. This process is tough, putting strain on your car’s suspension and your stomach. On the way, stop at two beautiful monasteries, Thiksey and Shey, to rest. Upon arrival at Changspa, before retiring for the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 5-Leh-Nubra (160 km)
After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for the Nubra Valley from Khardung La on the fifth day of your journey. You will stop at South Pullu before continuing to Khardung La, one of the highest highways in the world. Enjoy the view from here, take pictures, and continue your journey.
You will seek blessings at Diskit Monastery on the way. You will have the opportunity to appreciate the fascinating beauty of the valley from the monastery, which will leave you speechless. Spend the night at Nubra Valley Park.
Day 6: Nubra to Pangong Lake (275 km) via Shyok Road
After a delicious breakfast, you will depart for Pangong Lake. It is the largest brackish lake in Asia, with China accounting for two-thirds of it. On your way to Pangong, you will pass through Chang La, which is also one of the highest highways in the world. The beauty of the lake will leave you speechless. Check-in at the park when you arrive.
Day 7: Pangong to Leh (150 km)
Start the day with a full breakfast. After that, start your journey back to Leh. It’s your last day in a beautiful place. Enjoy a day trip to Leh. You will go to Shanti Stupa today. The White Gompa is the most recognisable symbol of the city.
This is followed by shopping in the Leh market. Souvenirs can be purchased here to remind you of an amazing vacation.
Day 8: Leh to Sarchu (215 km)
Start your journey to Sarchu from Leh. Continue on the same route you took from Sarchu to Leh. Meanwhile, pass Pang on your way. The rest of the day is dedicated to relaxing.
Day 9: Sarchu to Manali (215 km)
Today is Sarchu’s last day. You will arrive at Bara-Lacha La in the afternoon. You can have a good trip to Lahaul from here. Drive carefully when approaching Rohtang Pass. You will arrive in Manali in the evening. Complete the check-in process at the hotel and enjoy your overnight stay.
