The crematorium
The central element of the cremation process is the crematorium, a structure capable to treat the remains of human bodies at high temperatures. This accelerates the achievement of the results.
The crematorium is generally made by two distinct parts of the system, separate from each other by a refractory material. Combustion can instead take place by resorting to different systems, such as, for example, the firing of the walls of the furnace through the use of electric or gas resistances, or through the use of direct flame. In any case, the temperatures inside the structure will reach 900 – 1,000 degrees.
What is cremation?
The cremation is done by keying in the crematorium the coffin with the body: place on a flat surface, the coffin is then conduct inside the furnace through the metal guides that push in the upper part of the plant.
In this way the body of the decease and the coffin quickly catch fire, and the ash and calcify bones will fall into the lower part of the oven, where the combustion will be complete.
Thanks to the presence of a suitable ventilation system, the circulation of the air (and therefore of the oxygen) necessary for combustion will be guarantee for the entire duration of the process, which will, in any case, be subject to periodic monitoring by the operators, who they will be able to control the evolution of the same through the special peepholes position on the walls of the oven.
After a few hours, once the process is complete, the remains will be push outside the plant, along a cooling zone. In this area the ashes will be collect and place on a vibrating sieve. It will be able to eliminate the finest dust, keeping only those remains that will then undergo the very last phase of the treatment.

The collection of ashes
The remains go through a final step in the process. A magnet will in fact separate the metallic material contain in the ashes (coffin nails, prostheses, etc.). This allows us to identify the actual ashes from collect and seal inside an urn. The ashes are then deliver to relatives.
